The Global Sr. Salesforce Developer is a candidate with intensive experience in Salesforce technologies and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions. This role involves leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our Salesforce platform. The Certified Salesforce Developer works closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify/improve deployment processes and is responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement tasks for our CRM platform.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
2. Lead the development and deployment of new features and functionality within the Salesforce platform.
3. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
5. Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
6. Manage and optimize Salesforce data models, workflows, and validation rules.
7. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
9. Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and updates.
10. Serve as the advisor for Salesforce projects in review during COE meetings, providing training and guidance to other staff on development guidelines as well as best practices.
11. Manage multiple Salesforce orgs for the Global Digital team. Manage sandboxes and ensure best practices are followed by development teams while using Salesforce environments.
12. Prioritize deliverables and deploy well-tested solutions across Production and Non-production environments.
13. Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations on how to upgrade the environments to the latest release.
14. Design, develop, and maintain complex user roles and security models.
15. Contribute to the creation of Salesforce development standards and guidelines.
16. Perform mass data imports/exports using the Bulk API or various import tools.
17. Design and implement data partitioning and multitenancy strategies to enhance performance as well as provide robust data security.
18. Actively participate in design and sprint planning sessions, offering relevant solutions and input.
19. Support the Salesforce development lifecycle - aiding developers to build and promote code to Production.
20. Troubleshoot and complete complex data and application errors.
21. Provide clear and visible communication to all stakeholders.
22. High comfortability with the integration of standard and custom data sources.
