Overview
Join our new IT Center of Excellence in Madrid and help shape Axpo’s S/4HANA journey. Build intuitive SAP UI5 and mobile solutions on SAP BTP that empower our users in the field and across the business.
What you will do:
* Design, develop, optimize, and support SAP UI5/Fiori and SAP MDK apps
* Maintain and evolve mobile apps via SAP Mobile Services for SAP Asset Manager (AMR)
* Integrate frontends with SAP backends using OData and extensions on SAP BTP
* Conduct code reviews and champion frontend/mobile best practices
* Collaborate with UX, backend, and business teams to deliver responsive, accessible apps
* Troubleshoot across browsers and mobile platforms; document architecture and guides
What you bring & who you are:
* Must-have: Hands-on SAP UI5 development and Fiori design experience
* Must-have: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs
* Must-have: Experience with SAP BTP (e.g., Mobile Services) and BAS and/or VS Code with UI5 tooling
* Must-have: Experience extending standard S/4HANA Fiori apps; version control with Git
* Ideally: Knowledge of SAP MDK, SAP Asset Manager architecture, SAP Build Work Zone
* Ideally: Responsive/cross-platform expertise; TypeScript for SAPUI5; Cloud Foundry familiarity
* You are self-motivated, collaborative, quality-focused, and eager to learn
* Languages: Fluent English; German and/or Spanish are a plus
