We're an innovative technical team within Adaptavist which focuses on novel and robust business solutions as software that creates new value for clients in a variety of ecosystems such as Atlassian, monday.com, Gitlab and AWS. /ppbr/ppbWhat you'll be doing /b /ppbr/ppbPeople Collaboration /b /ppbr/pulliInvolvement in the support and guidance of junior team members /liliCollaboration (Slack, email and Jira tickets) with all project team members, which include /liliconsultants, developers and project managers /liliWork with the team to ensure our quality practices are adhered to /li /ulpbr/ppbEngineering /b /ppbr/pulliDesigning, writing and testing solutions /liliComplex, collaborative problem solving /liliPerforming code peer reviews /liliWriting automated tests at unit, integration and functional levels and drive code quality within /lilithe team /liliTroubleshooting builds and deployments /liliDocumentation of all technical designs /liliAssisting with support escalation /li /ulpbr/ppbRole-specific skills, knowledge and experience /b /ppbr/pulliExperience in using Java with tools like Junit, Maven, Gradle and mockito to build and test developer tooling, libraries and cloud services is a must /li /ulpbr/pulliExperience using React, Webpack and JavaScript ES2015/16 to build and test applications. /li /ulpbr/pulliTesting frameworks in one or more of: Jest, Enzyme, Karma, Mocha, Sinon, Cypress, JPhantomJS or Jasmine /li /ulpbr/pulliExperience applying static typing in Javascript /li /ulpbr/pulliExperience working on a large codebase/API /li /ulpbr/pulliCreating Automation with Groovy Script / ScriptRunner /li /ulpbr/pulliExperience with HTML5, CSS and front-end best practices /li /ulpbr/pulliExperience in any one database storage technology and languages (e.g. SQL/RDBMS like Postgres and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB) /li /ulpbr/pulliUnderstanding of serverless and micro-services oriented architecture with extensible REST APIs and developing consuming these in Javascript or Java /li /ulpbr/pulliUnderstanding of high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, distributed systems /li /ulpbr/pulliInternal tools and consulting with Jira, Git, Gitlab /li /ulpbr/pulliServerless/Microservice Architecture /li /ulpbr/pulliSecure cloud native applications deployed in AWS /li /ulpbr/pulliExperience with Atlassian products and APIs such as Jira (especially), Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Confluence. /li /ulpbr/pulliJira product/APIs /li /ulpbr/pulliAtlassian Connect Forge Frameworks /li /ulpbr/ppbDesirable /b /ppbr/pulliExperience with NodeJS /liliExperience with agile software development methodologies like Kanban or Scrum /liliBroad knowledge and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience /liliof public cloud offerings (AWS, AWS lambda, fargate, SNS / SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway /liliand S3) and Docker containers /liliPassion for the latest trends in application design and Interest in learning more about new /lililanguages and frameworks /liliExperience with continuous integration, continuous delivery and infrastructure as code /li /ul
