Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist, on a fixed term contract (6 months), to lead the execution of our corporate M&A agenda, including acquisitions and divestments. This role will shape the strategic perimeter of our business and play a pivotal part in Corporate Development initiatives spanning Strategy, Finance, and Restructuring — all aimed at driving long‑term equity value for our shareholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute strategic acquisitions and divestments, including sourcing and managing the M&A pipeline.
Develop and refine the company’s M&A strategy and build strong relationships with target organizations.
Partner with the Strategy team to establish strategic partnerships and preferential agreements with key external stakeholders.
Drive major strategic projects, leading multi-functional internal teams through project creation, planning, and execution.
Support senior leadership, the Board, and key sponsors with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to guide critical decision-making.
Required Skillset and Experience
Strong analytical capability with proven experience assessing business opportunities, strategic fit, and value creation potential.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while coordinating large cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational skills and capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change.
High-quality execution under pressure with exceptional attention to detail and professionalism.
Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting at C‑suite and Board level.
Strong Corporate Development background with significant exposure to M&A over recent years.
Proven track record executing transactions (acquisitions and divestments), including evaluation, financial modelling, due diligence, and Board-level presentation.
Fluency in English is essential.
