As a Revenue Management Intern, you’ll support our centralized Revenue Management & Distribution Team (comprising four people) at our head office in Barcelona.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the head of distribution and revenue management to onboard new properties and update the existing portfolio across distribution channels.
* Assist in the pricing strategies for existing and new markets for both online and offline distribution.
* Conduct competitive benchmarking, market analysis and research.
* Provide pricing recommendations for new properties.
* Data extraction, blending, report creation and analysis.
* Rate and restriction loading through PMS and Revenue Management systems.
* Assist in the design and creation of Revenue Management dashboards and cross‑system analysis.
Key Information
* Internship start: June/July 2026 (flexible).
* The recruitment process is the following:
o Step 1: screening call for selected candidates.
o Step 2: case study.
o Step 3: video interview with the Head of Distribution & Revenue Management.
o Step 4: reference check.
About You
Must‑haves
* Available for a period of six months.
* Currently enrolled in or have just finished studies in hospitality or business administration/management; offering a “becario” agreement between the university, yourself and Emerald Stay.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
* At least six months of experience in a working environment, preferably in English.
* Eligible to work in the EU without visa sponsorship and willing to relocate to Barcelona.
* Proficient in Excel (will be tested).
Nice‑to‑haves
* Experience with data analysis tools.
* Foundational knowledge of data science and business intelligence concepts.
* Proven track record of a successful analytical or distribution / revenue management role.
* Experience with revenue management experimentation or working in a hotel sales & revenue management department.
* Interest in start‑ups and technology.
* Understanding of Airbnb, Booking.com, Google or key distribution / marketing channels.
* Real passion and understanding of the hospitality industry.
* Proficiency in French and Spanish.
