Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Thermo Fisher Scientific is accelerating its digital transformation, and our eCommerce team is expanding our experimentation and analytics capabilities to deliver exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking a Platform Manager to lead the strategy, development, and scalability of our A/B testing and analytics platforms across our digital commercial channels.
About the Role
As a Platform Manager, you will own and evolve our experimentation ecosystem—including QA, development workflows, analytics instrumentation, and governance. You will build a scalable testing platform that enables higher velocity, improved data quality, and actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes. This role partners closely with engineering, product, UX, and analytics to mature our experimentation program and support data-driven decision-making across eCommerce.
What You Will Do
· Develop and execute the roadmap for a scalable, enterprise-grade A/B testing platform that supports increased test volume and speed.
· Overcome technical and process limitations by building defensible plans and leadership asks within the annual operating plan (AOP).
· Partner with engineering and analytics teams to improve tagging, data quality, QA processes, reliability, and deployment workflows.
· Establish best practices for experiment design, statistical rigor, governance, and documentation.
· Define and report performance measures aligned to Practical Process Improvement (PPI)—including velocity, quality, cycle time, and platform reliability.
· Drive platform adoption and enablement through training, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration.
· Provide dashboards and insights that help product and business teams make data-informed decisions.
What You Bring
· 5+ years in product/platform management, experimentation, analytics, or related digital roles.
· Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Target, LaunchDarkly) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Amplitude).
· Strong understanding of QA, data instrumentation, and statistical testing methodologies.
· Proven ability to influence technical and business stakeholders and articulate clear roadmaps.
· Experience working in large-scale digital or eCommerce environments; familiarity with PPI or continuous improvement methodologies a plus.
