About the role
ALTEN is currently looking for a Business Controller & Analyst for our Business Data Management Department in Madrid. In this position, you will work with a talented team in an international environment.
As Business Controller & Analyst, you will have a dynamic role in the team, where you will participate in the performance of the classic operational/reporting tasks of the team, which are the following:
* Develop and maintain our main work tools and reports by collecting data and performing data-mining analyses in Excel and Power BI
* Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as well as ad-hoc analyses on request
* Manage, maintain and optimize company performance by analyzing a large number of operational indicators (KPIs) and business metrics with a critical eye
* Create different dashboards for top management
* Improve synergies with the finance department by developing new reports that guarantee accurate numbers
* Collaborate with other organizational functions (HR, recruitment, etc.)
* Provide the highest quality reports and analyses in anticipation of key deadlines (such as our monthly business review with top management and our biannual assessment of the commercial/management team based on operational data)
* Implement the management team's bonus system
Who should apply for the position?
* Academic degree in business management or equivalent and 2-5 years of professional experience in business/operational controlling/ HR analysis/ Sales analysis or equivalent.
* An Excel expert
* Committed and having a strong interest in consolidating and analyzing business data.
* People person, as he/she will be constantly in contact with top management and staff.
