We’re seeking a skilled freelancer to manage and optimize Google Merchant Center accounts for various e-commerce websites. This project-based role requires expertise in GMC, handling organic product listings, troubleshooting disapprovals, and increasing product visibility.
You will collaborate with our tech, content, and marketing teams to ensure proper product feeds, improve organic performance, and maximize exposure on Google Shopping. If you have experience fixing feed issues, strong SEO skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce product structures, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:
* Setting up, configuring, and managing Google Merchant Center accounts
* Creating, updating, and optimizing product feeds
* Troubleshooting feed errors, disapprovals, and policy violations to ensure maximum product approval and visibility
* Optimizing product data (titles, descriptions, images, categories, etc.) for better organic and Google Shopping performance
* Monitoring the Diagnostics tab and resolving issues promptly
* Updating and improving product feeds regularly
* Ensuring proper syncing between Google Merchant Center and Google Ads as needed
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure feed accuracy and consistency
Qualifications:
* Experience with GMC, including fixing disapprovals and optimizing feeds
* Strong SEO knowledge
* Understanding of e-commerce product structures
