IA Division is seeking a Model Standars and Methodology Specialist

Role Mission

Lead the design and implementation of the global data framework, aligned with regulatory requirements, AI risk management, and ethical principles. Definition of scalable, consistent and compliant governance policies and methodologies for enterprise data management, traditional and AI-based models. Key role to ensure the ethical, transparent, and secure use of data and models across the organization, aligned with regulatory obligations and digital transformation objectives, supporting Group’s strategic objectives around regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, BCBS 239, GDPR, DORA) responsible data use and ethical models.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, document, and implement enterprise-wide data governance policies and standards, covering data quality management (KPIs, controls, and escalation processes), data lineage and traceability to ensure transparency from source to usage, metadata and data cataloguing frameworks across geographies, roles and responsibilities with clear accountability structures.
* Promote a data governance culture across the Group, ensuring alignment between central policies and local adaptation and effective data roles implementation.
* Define and maintain model governance policies, including lifecycle controls from development through decommissioning. Standardize use of champion–challenger models as part of performance monitoring. Support adoption of common frameworks for model risk classification, documentation, validation, and versioning.
* Act as custodian of internal AI governance policies, ensuring alignment with the AI Act and Group strategy. Guide the classification of AI systems by risk level and lead readiness efforts for future regulatory audits. Design and monitor compliance controls and support internal audit processes. Promote ethical and responsible AI practices (explainability, fairness, human oversight, robustness) through governance forums and internal policy alignment.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (BCBS 239, GDPR, DORA) through sustainable governance processes. Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and technical teams to ensure holistic regulatory alignment.

Profile Requirements

* 2 to 4years of professional experience in developing or maintaining regulatory frameworks and methodological or governance standards.
* Deep understanding of data and banking regulations ( EBA, PSD2, BCBS 239, GDPR, AI Act) is required.
* Experience in data governance, model development, validation within a regulated environment (e.g., financial services, insurance, healthcare) is highly desirable.
* Ability to work in collaborative and multinational teams, communicating effectively with both technical and functional stakeholders.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills to drive adoption and foster collaboration between global and local units.
* Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields; advanced studies or law with a tech focus are a plus.
