Summary / Role Purpose
The Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Ansys ModelCenter and Ansys System Architecture Modeler is responsible for defining, driving, and developing product marketing plans and sales enablement content across a multi-product portfolio. This supports the go-to-market priorities for the business unit and aligns with the Ansys Model-Based Systems Engineering strategy. The role requires understanding industry trends, market opportunities, partnerships, and competitive landscape to develop effective messaging, positioning, marketing plans, and sales support materials. Success is measured by campaign execution that results in pipeline and revenue growth. This position demands strong technical knowledge and the ability to coordinate among cross-functional teams including product, sales, marketing, development, and partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Deliver value-based messaging for the products, collaborating with the engineering strategy and marketing teams.
2. Participate in go-to-market planning, including market sizing, customer segmentation, and regional sales alignment.
3. Maintain competitive leadership by understanding the landscape and differentiators.
4. Create sales enablement collateral such as presentations, use cases, battle cards, case studies, and solution guides.
5. Develop marketing plans and lead generation campaigns targeting the global systems engineering audience.
6. Manage product marketing execution for new feature and product launches, aligned with release cycles.
7. Develop marketing collateral including web content, videos, technical assets, datasheets, blogs, and other content in partnership with corporate marketing.
8. Coordinate with field and corporate marketing to promote products effectively.
9. Ensure targeted lead generation programs and accurate campaign reporting to measure success.
10. Manage complex, global, multi-product marketing campaigns.
11. Evaluate ROI of marketing tactics at all customer journey stages.
Minimum Education / Certification and Experience
* BS in Marketing (preferably MBA), Mechanical or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with at least 5 years of experience.
* Strong knowledge of systems engineering concepts like MBSE.
* Ability to translate product features into clear customer value and messaging.
* Experience across various marketing competencies (Digital, Social, Web, ABM).
* Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with collaborative work experience in distributed organizations.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
* Advanced degree in Marketing or Engineering, with prior experience in software product marketing.
* Experience in systems engineering trends such as MBSE, SysML, digital models, and simulation.
* Experience supporting global B2B demand generation campaigns.
