Process Engineer – Stamping
We are looking for a Process Engineer – Stamping to join the team of one of our clients in the automotive sector, based in Zaragoza (Spain).
The selected candidate will support the definition, follow-up and validation of stamping processes, working closely with the customer’s internal engineering and production teams.
This role is idóneo for engineers or technicians with 3 to 5 years of experience in large-size stamping dies, including set-up follow-up and validation prior to handover to plant. Experience in hot stamping, transfer press dies, or roll forming will be considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Follow-up and monitoring of the set-up and fine-tuning of large stamping dies.
- Support in the validation process prior to delivery to plant.
- Coordination with tooling, production, and quality departments to ensure correct die performance.
- Technical analysis of issues related to stamping processes and dies.
- Preparation of documentation, reports, and progress updates.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Technical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in stamping processes and dies (essential).
- Knowledge of hot stamping, transfer press tooling, or roll forming is highly valued.
- Must be based in Zaragoza or nearby areas.
- Proactive mindset, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
