Create dynamic and engaging visual effects, including celebratory animations, power-ups, micro-interactions, and transitions to enhance the game's visual appeal and player experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, UI/UX, and the broader Art team, reporting to our in-house VFX Lead.Design effects that enhance gameplay, LiveOps content, UI animations, and player feedback.Bring creative ideas while maintaining consistency with the game's visual identity.Deliver high-quality assets on schedule to support production timelines.Work with artists and engineers to ensure seamless integration of effects.Document specifications for effects and review in-game visuals regularly.Optimize effects for mobile platforms, considering performance and memory constraints.What We’re Looking For
Background in Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent professional experience.2–4 years of relevant experience with a portfolio showcasing real-time visual effects.Experience contributing to live game projects, understanding pipelines, scope, and dependencies.Ability to blend artistic creativity with technical limitations for performant assets.Comfort in collaborative, feedback-rich environments and iterative processes.Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented work approach.Familiarity with Unity’s VFX tools and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.Ability to create visuals that meet technical requirements across various devices.Scopely is a global mobile-first gaming company known for top titles like
