Your mission as a Financial Controller will be to assist in the preparation, consolidation, and provision of all the information necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the integrated financial control system across the different business units, in accordance with the guidelines set by department management.
What will be your main challenges as a Controller?
Collaborate with both business and financial teams in the preparation of budgets and the collection of the necessary information to feed the reporting system.
Consolidate and verify the information received to ensure consistency with the data provided by both business and finance, and report any discrepancies.
Compare actual figures on income, turnover, costs, etc., with the annual budget to identify deviations.
Manage intercompany invoicing.
Participate in and support periodic internal audits of individual account.
Contribute to the preparation of financial data for stock exchange announcements, shareholder communications, and internal meetings.
Conduct studies that support business intelligence initiatives.
Work closely with other departments to ensure proper financial tracking and provide visibility into progress and variances.
What will make you succeed?
Having at least 3–4 years of experience in financial control will help you adapt quickly to the role.
As part of an international group with a transversal Finance team, a good command of spoken and written English is essential.
A higher education degree in Business Administration or Economics, with a focus on financial control, will provide a solid foundation for success in this position.
