**ABOUT THE JOB**
- As a Release Manager you will be part of the Atcore NR Application Delivery Team. You will have overall responsibility for scheduling, planning, and controlling the software’s development & delivery process, coordinating the path to Production via test environments.
You will be responsible for the Release Management Lifecycle that involves scheduling the release, coordinating between teams and deployments as per the release schedule.
Overall, you will be concerned with planning, testing, tracking, release, deployment, communication, and risk management. Responsibilities will include
- Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
- Track progress and manage issues. Always work to improve this.
- Make sure that the release is planned, according to the requirements.
- Schedule release readiness reviews before deployment and retrospectives after each release.
- Implementation planning and technical reviews.
- Regular updates on planned release activities.
- Communicate with release managers from different IT departments.
- Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
- Notify and represent releases at CAB meetings.
- Maintain documentation related to the Release Life Cycle investing in continuous improvements.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Detailed knowledge of Software Development & Release Lifecycles.
- Project management experience.
- Team management/coordination skills.
- Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban.
- Assured demeanour, able to instil confidence in your peers and other team members.
- Organised, methodical approach with clear written and verbal communication.
- Works well under pressure, comfortable with ambiguity, highly autonomous.
