Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top technical and professional talent for STS on an international scale, with a primary focus on the EMEA region and the United States. The role will place strong emphasis on recruitment for renewable energy inspection, quality assurance, technical advisory, and related positions.
The Specialist will manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for highly specialized roles, support with STS’s growth objectives and mission. In addition, the role will contribute to the design and support of career development, training, and internal mobility initiatives aimed at strengthening talent retention, performance, and long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical and professional roles, including Senior Inspectors, Inspection Engineers, Technical Engineers, Project Managers, Supply Chain Advisors, and other specialist positions.
Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals (Naukri etc.), industry networks, and referrals.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for niche, roles within the renewable energy inspection and quality ecosystem.
Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs, supporting workforce and succession planning.
Coordinate with recruitment vendors to ensure quality, relevance, and timely delivery of profiles.
Candidate Screening & Assessment
Conduct initial screening, assessments, and interviews to evaluate technical competencies, cultural fit, and career objectives.
Facilitate coordinated interview processes with hiring managers and technical teams and provide structured feedback.
Track candidate progress and ensure timely communication throughout the process.
Deliver a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
Stakeholder Partnership
Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and candidate profiles.
Provide market insights on talent availability, competitor salaries, and hiring strategies within the renewable energy and technical services sector.
Recruitment Metrics & Reporting
Maintain accurate recruitment data and generate metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source effectiveness.
Provide regular updates to HR leadership on hiring progress, challenges, and talent market trends.
Learning, Development & Career Progression (Nice to have)
Experience or interest in supporting the design and implementation of career development frameworks, including role progression paths, competency matrices, and skill requirements for both technical and non-technical roles.
Ability to help identify training and development needs based on performance gaps, business growth, and the evolution of technologies within the renewable energy sector.
Exposure to coordinating technical, functional, and soft-skills training programs, including onboarding initiatives for new hires.
Interest in supporting internal mobility, promotion, and succession planning initiatives, collaborating with managers to assess readiness and development needs.
Experience assisting in the creation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for key roles and high-potential employees.
Qualifications & Skills
~ Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
~4-6 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within renewable energy sector.
~ Proven track record of recruiting for similar niche technical roles.
~ Excellent sourcing skills and familiarity with modern recruitment tools.
~ Strong communication, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.
~ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
~ Experience or interest in Learning, Development & Career Progression initiatives is considered a plus for the role.
