About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager at Amazon, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business. You will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that address wider challenges across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and research to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic solutions.
* Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive improvements in tech and non-tech products.
* Project Management: Lead improvement projects and programs from start to finish, using strategic thinking to define and implement efficient project plans.
* Operational Performance: Enhance operational performance on every product in partnership with stakeholders.
A Day in the Life:
You will spend your days driving and managing the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon. This includes leading improvement projects, tech products, and programs, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
About the Team:
The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a critical role in our success, using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a diverse team that values innovation and efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* A degree in a relevant field
* Relevant experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership
* Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
* Proficiency with data analysis systems (SQL, Python, Excel)
* Experience using data visualization software, such as Tableau or Quicksight
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Previous experience as Business Analyst or Data Scientist
* Previous experience in Product Management and working with tech partner teams
* A degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics-related subject or MBA
* Relevant experience in a supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning role
