Blue Yonder is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate pipeline and business for our EMEA team.

What You’ll Do :

* Use prospecting strategies to initiate outreach to prospects and build relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts.
* Collect and analyze potential customers' critical business needs and challenges, identify and qualify their budget, timelines, business issues, and obstacles for handoff to the appropriate sales representative.
* Determine prospects’ interest and recommend appropriate Blue Yonder products and services.
* Manage your assigned territory, covering as many contacts as possible.
* Participate in sales opportunity reviews and collaborate with Account Managers in your territory.
* Achieve quarterly lead generation goals set by sales management.
* Communicate effectively with Sales management via in-person meetings, phone, email, and system updates.
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads using independent judgment through phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns.
* Create, analyze, and execute pre-packaged marketing and lead-generation programs.
* Track sales activities and admin tasks in the sales system (e.g., call activity, lead qualification, pipeline status) to maintain communication within the sales team.
* Use professional experience to overcome objections and communicate Blue Yonder’s value propositions to key decision makers regarding relevant products.
* Participate actively in developing new marketing techniques and strategies to secure new accounts.

What we are looking for :

* Minimum 2 years of inside sales or business development experience in the software industry.
* Personable, outgoing, helpful, and able to initiate engaging conversations.
* Proven track record of exceptional lead generation results.
* Experience working in a team sales environment.
* Ability to handle projects with minimal supervision.
* Knowledge of SFA / CRM / Contact Manager software; experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
