They are hiring for an Analyst to join their Barcelona or Madrid team. It is an exciting opportunity to join a growing underwriter, offering excellent exposure and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct risk assessment and analysis to evaluate potential underwriting opportunities.
* Support senior underwriters in structuring and pricing insurance policies.
* Assist in financial modelling, risk evaluation, and policy issuance.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for underwriting decisions.
* Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices affecting underwriting.
About you
* Law degree (LLB or equivalent) — knowledge of corporate/M&A law is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
* A keen interest in insurance, corporate finance, or M&A.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
* Previous internship or experience in financial services, M&A, or legal advisory is a plus.
