We are now looking for an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Technician
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and onsite, located in Porriño, Galicia - Spain.
As EHS Technician, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring compliance with legal obligations related to Health and Safety regulations by implementing H&S policies, organization, and procedures.
* Supporting the H&S Committees, Customer Safety Manager, etc., in managing the H&S Management Plan and activities.
* Providing support to Maintenance and Field Services for work permits after ensuring clearance for hazardous work.
* Receiving and investigating reports of accidents, dangerous occurrences, and fire damage, determining causes, and recommending preventive actions.
* Maintaining a system for recording, reporting, and investigating injuries, accidents, and dangerous occurrences.
* Identifying training needs and conducting H&S-related training sessions.
* Ensuring proper maintenance of emergency arrangements and conducting drills.
* Preparing and coordinating internal H&S audits.
* Supporting Wellbeing activities.
* Coordinating and following up on reports and actions in WeCare related to the site.
Qualifications for success:
* PRL Official technical education.
* Knowledge of EHS Spanish, Galician, and local legislation.
* Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is recommended; Galician is a plus.
* At least 5 years of industry experience.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Reporting and analyzing skills.
* Training and development skills.
