This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Gas Trader will contribute to the team's P&L;, manage risk, and build relationships with key market participants, supporting the company's efforts to maximize the value of its gas portfolio and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.* Execute proprietary and/or asset-backed gas trades across European hubs (TTF, NBP, PEG, MIBGAS, etc.), with a focus on the Spanish market.* Optimize storage, transport, and LNG positions to maximize commercial value.* Conduct market analysis to identify trading opportunities and emerging trends in short-term and seasonal markets.* Ensure robust risk management and compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks.* Collaborate with analytics, scheduling, and risk teams to ensure accurate trade capture, reporting, and performance analysis.* Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers, and market operators.* Support the Head of Gas Trading and other traders in developing and executing advanced trading strategies.* Prepare regular reports on trading performance, market insights, and profitability for senior management.# **What we offer:*** Permanent contract* Bonus according to objectives* Medical insurance* Contribution to pension plan* Digital disconnection* Conciliation measures* Legal advice* Employee support services# **You will fit the position if:*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field.* 3–7 years of front-office trading experience in European gas markets, with a preference for experience in Spanish transport and storage.* Proven track record of delivering P&L; results and managing trading strategies.* Strong understanding of European gas fundamentals, storage economics, and LNG flows. xqysrnh * Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel;
