You’ll need to be both strategic and execution‑oriented – comfortable switching between high‑level planning and day‑to‑day delivery. You’ll work closely with customers, engineers, the open‑source community, and leadership to build strategy, scale the marketing team, prioritise work, and scale our impact. /p pYou’ll be building for developers, so a technical background is a big plus. This role is ideal for someone who has marketing experience growing a company at the $5-$30M ARR range by more than 2X, and wants to do it again. /p pWe are looking for someone with a passion for the dev tool space, who might want to start something in 5–10 years themselves. You’ll be someone who will help us continue to push the open source space to the next level! /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liDefine and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and product roadmap. /li liBuild and manage the marketing function, processes, and team – from demand generation to brand and content. /li liOwn the marketing roadmap, ensuring all initiatives are directly tied to product milestones, launches, and customer needs. /li liPartner with sales to build integrated campaigns and account‑based marketing programs focused on our top 500 target accounts. /li liOversee all marketing channels, including content, email, webinars, podcasts, and partnerships – ensuring a cohesive brand narrative. /li liDevelop and optimise customer onboarding journeys and in‑app conversion flows to maximise activation and adoption. /li liManage and report on the overall marketing budget, focusing on measurable impact and ROI. /li liLead thought leadership and community engagement efforts to position Flagsmith as a category leader in feature management and developer tooling. /li liPartner closely with product, sales, and customer success to ensure marketing strategy supports GTM alignment and long‑term customer growth. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 pBeyond core marketing expertise, we’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, data, and strategy: /p ul li5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally within SaaS or developer tooling. /li liProven experience in bproduct marketing /b, aligning go‑to‑market efforts with product development. /li liTrack record of executing bdata‑driven demand generation /b programs tied to revenue outcomes. /li liA track record of consistently generating qualified pipeline and hitting or exceeding opportunity and revenue targets. /li liStrong btechnical fluency /b – able to engage credibly with engineering and product teams. /li liStrategic thinker who can operate at both 10,000ft and ground level – crafting vision while delivering execution. /li liDemonstrated success leading marketing that combines a sales‑led motion with product‑led growth. /li liExperience scaling companies at a similar phase. /li liExperience managing and scaling partnerships and co‑marketing programs. /li liExcellent communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. /li liBased in Europe or willing to work European time zones. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul liExperience with open‑source products and developer communities. /li liHas effectively adopted new tools and AI to enhance productivity, efficiency and growth. /li liBackground in growth marketing or analytics. /li liFamiliarity with feature flagging, remote config, or CI/CD tooling. /li liPrior experience in bootstrapped or developer‑first companies. /li liExperience hosting or producing podcasts, webinars, or community content. /li /ul h3Why Join Flagsmith? /h3 ul liShape the marketing and growth engine at a foundational stage. /li li100% remote team — work where you’re most effective /li liJoin a small, profitable, fast‑growing company with strong product‑market fit /li liDeeply technical product, loved by engineers worldwide /li liAutonomy and ownership from Day 1 /li liCompetitive compensation and equity /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 ul liDirector /li /ul h3Employment type /h3 ul liFull‑time /li /ul h3Job function /h3 ul liMarketing /li /ul h3Industries /h3 ul liSoftware Development /li /ul pReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Flagsmith by 2x /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
