At SEGULA Technologies, we are looking to hire several Design Release Engineers to join automotive projects based in Zaragoza. The Design Release Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end management of component development (depending on scope: mechatronics, interior, closures, lighting, glazing, etc.), acting as a technical interface between suppliers, engineering teams, and the project, ensuring compliance with timing, quality, and technical requirements. brThis is a key position within the industrialization process development, involving a high level of international coordination. brMain responsibilities: brManage component development within the project (planning, milestones, deliverables). brCoordinate technically with suppliers: monitor progress, risks, and action plans. brEnsure supplier quality management following APQP / PPAP methodologies. brTrack and resolve development issues (ISSUE / ECR / Change Management). brLead technical meetings (design reviews, convergence meetings, project follow-ups). brValidate technical documentation: CAD (2 D/3 D), BOM, PCP, specifications. brAlign supplier timelines with overall project planning. brParticipate in validation phases, prototypes, and product launch. brPerform technical feasibility analysis, industrialization, and cost optimization. brManage and track documentation using PLM tools. Requirements: brDegree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, or similar). brPrevious experience in the automotive sector, ideally in roles such as Design Release Engineer, Product Engineer, Project Engineer, Development Engineer, or similar. brStrong understanding of automotive product development processes. brExperience working with suppliers in an international environment. brKnowledge of APQP, PPAP, and change management (ECR/ECN). brAbility to read and interpret CAD drawings and models (2 D/3 D). brHigh level of English (international environment). Nice to have: brKnowledge of PLM tools (Teamcenter, etc.). brExperience in industrialization or product launch phases. brKnowledge of failure analysis methodologies (8 D, 5 Whys, DFMEA). brUpper-intermediate level of French.
