Omega CRM Consulting is seeking an AWS Backend & DevOps Developer to collaborate with a leading global pharmaceutical company.
Responsibilities
* Develop, package, document, and support an AWS-based product for handling consents, preferences, and exclusions within a product team.
* Support AWS infrastructure resource provisioning and design, build, deploy AWS services using Terraform templates for services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue, and RDS.
* Act as an SME for AWS environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
* Maintain AWS environment, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal performance.
* Implement monitoring to detect and respond to events.
* Handle daily support tasks, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
* Manage technical demands using agile methodologies, collaborating globally to ensure timely project delivery.
* Maintain container images for systems like ECS.
* Configure CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
Experience
* 3-4+ years in a similar role, capable of managing conflicts, challenging stakeholders, and focusing on overarching goals.
* Proactive, autonomous, transparent, with a customer-focused mindset and attention to detail.
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, understanding the rationale behind scenarios.
Must-have Skills
* Fluent in English; documentation and communication in English are mandatory.
* Strong communication skills for virtual and global teamwork.
* Spanish proficiency is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue, VPC, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
* Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform.
* Proficiency in Python programming.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and version control.
* Experience managing RDS PostgreSQL databases.
Nice to Have
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
* Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
