Secondary Job Description

Organon is looking for a National Sales Lead for Germany. In this field-based position, you will have flexibility in your location within Germany and will be responsible for developing and implementing the national business strategy for the country. You will lead the sales operations to maximize performance and profitability in this market, aligning business objectives with the company's overall strategic vision. You will play a crucial role in guiding and influencing the organization by embodying and illustrating the expected behaviors.

Responsibilities :

Execution of Commercial Strategy : Design and execute an ambitious commercial strategy for the German market, considering market dynamics and the company's long-term objectives.

Leadership and Team Management : Provide visionary and strategic leadership to different sales teams. Foster and maintain a culture of high performance and operational excellence.

Promoting Leadership within the Organization : Act as an exemplary leader within the German organization, inspiring and motivating employees at all levels. Cultivate a culture of participatory leadership and collaboration.

Role Modeling : Demonstrate the expected behaviors of the company, including entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, integrity, and commitment to excellence. Encourage and showcase proactive and results-oriented attitudes.

Agility and Pragmatism : Exhibit agility and pragmatism in leadership style, swiftly adapting strategies to market changes and making practical and effective decisions.

Stakeholder Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, regulators, and other important stakeholders to drive sales growth and enhance the company's reputation.

Driving the Evolution of the Business Model and Organization : Identify and promote initiatives to evolve the business model and organization to remain competitive and innovative in the market.

Product Launches : Manage and coordinate upcoming product launches, ensuring successful market integration and maximizing their commercial impact.

Performance Analysis and Optimization : Oversee the analysis of sales data, market trends, and competitive performance to identify improvement opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Market Penetration skills : Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and strategic partners, expanding our market presence and influence. Identify new market segments and untapped opportunities, driving targeted expansion efforts for our product portfolio.

Compliance and Ethics : Ensure that all commercial activities comply with local regulations and the ethical standards of the pharmaceutical industry.

Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing, commercial operations, medical, finance, and market access departments to align commercial initiatives with organizational goals.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Education : Higher degree in business, marketing, pharmacy, or a related field. An MBA or other postgraduate degree is highly valued.

Experience : Over 10 years of experience in senior commercial positions, with significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Proven track record in managing large teams and developing large-scale commercial strategies.

Skills : Ability to lead and inspire teams through strategic transformations. Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic decision-making skills. Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics.

Leadership : Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate employees at all levels. Expertise in collaborative and participatory leadership, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.

Role Modeling : Capability to embody and promote the company's values, particularly entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, and results orientation.

Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulations, and market intricacies in Germany.

Agility and Pragmatism : Excellent skills in agility and pragmatism, with proven ability to quickly adapt strategies and make practical and effective decisions.

Compliance : Commitment to ensuring the team strictly adheres to the charter of promotional information activities and relevant regulations.

Languages : Fluency in German and English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
