Mission:The Design and Technical Office Manager will lead the design coordination and technical office functions on-site, ensuring consistency between design intent, quantities, execution strategies, and contract obligations.Key Responsibilities:~ Manage and coordinate the technical office team (design coordination, quantities, drawings, BIM/CAD, documentation).~ Analyze IFC (Issued for Construction) documentation and track all design updates and changes.~ Calculate and validate quantities based on project-specific criteria and actual site conditions.~ Maintain up-to-date records of all technical changes and non-conformities that could lead to claims or contractual impacts.~ Support the project team in preparing technical justifications for variations and claims to be presented to the Engineer.~ Interface with design consultants, construction teams, and JV partners to ensure alignment of technical solutions with construction execution.~ Monitor the compliance of the design and documentation with local standards and project specifications.~ MSc Civil Engineer, preferably with specialization in Foundations and Structures.
One of the positions must have a specialization in marine works.~15+ years of experience in design management or technical office roles in large-scale infrastructure projects.~ Strong knowledge of quantity take-off processes, measurement rules, and valuation methodologies.~ Experience analyzing IFC documentation and maintaining a traceable record of changes and design updates.~ Solid understanding of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks related to claims and variations.~ Skilled in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and preferably in BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) or cost management systems.~ High attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent technical documentation skills.~ Prior experience in joint ventures or international projects is an advantage. xqysrnh ~ Willingness to be based full-time in a remote location under rotation or long-term assignment.
