Technical Sales Manager (f/m/d)

With sites in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, the USA, Mexico, China, Singapore, and India, Budenheim employs more than 1,350 people and generates annual revenue of several hundred million euros.
We’re looking for someone passionate about baking and savory foods, skilled at connecting with clients, and ready to help us bring innovative nutrition solutions to market with energy, purpose, and a strong customer focus.
Responsibilities
* Identify and qualify leads, plan sales activities and business trips, and develop tailored quotations and proposals.
* Present products and services to new and existing clients, and conduct effective sales negotiations.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts, activity records, and prepare regular performance reports.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and nurture long‑term client relationships.
* Follow up on sales activities to drive opportunities through the pipeline and close deals.
* Monitor market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities and support strategic decisions.
Qualifications
* A degree in Food Science or a related field, plus around 3 years of experience in sales or a client‑facing role in the nutrition or food industry.
* Strong understanding of nutrition‑related topics and the ability to communicate them clearly to clients and stakeholders.
* Proven skills in managing the full sales cycle – from lead generation to deal closure.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a confident and client‑oriented approach.
* A structured, proactive, and goal‑driven work style – both independently and in a team.
* Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus, and you’re open to occasional travel.
