We are partnering with a major consumer marketplace operating at massive scale across Southern Europe.
The company is expanding its vertical strategy and is now searching for a Product Manager (Motors / Automotive) to lead the growth and monetization of one of its key business units.
This role combines deep industry expertise, marketplace product strategy, and the ownership of B2C and B2B experiences for the automotive category.
Your Mission
As a Product Manager for the Motors vertical, you will own the end‑to‑end experience for vehicle listings, search, and lead generation.
You will also drive B2B subscription strategy, launch new revenue lines (insurance, services, vehicle reports), and ensure a top‑tier experience for both private sellers and professional dealerships.
Your role will be crucial in scaling the automotive business while improving transparency, trust, and lead quality.
What You Will Do
* Define and drive the strategy for the Motors category.
* Lead the roadmap to improve inventory quality and dealer tools (feeds, DMS, lead management).
* Develop and scale B2B subscription models for professional dealers.
* Launch new revenue streams such as insurance, financing or verification services.
* Tailor marketplace features to the needs of automotive users.
* Conduct user and market research with buyers, sellers and dealerships.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing and Sales teams.
* Run experiments (A/B tests) to improve conversion and lead quality.
* Monitor KPIs across inventory health, lead performance and vertical revenue.
What We’re Looking For
* Must‑have: Experience in car marketplaces, automotive platforms, or motors classifieds.
* Deep understanding of the automotive buyer/seller journey.
* Familiarity with professional workflows (DMS, inventory feeds, dealer tools).
* Strong strategic mindset combined with analytical rigor.
* Ability to work cross‑functionally with high stakeholder alignment.
* English fluency.
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with ML applied to pricing or vehicle recommendations.
