Senior Backend Developer Contract Role:
Day Rate: €350-€380 per day
8-12 month contract

You’ll join a large, distributed backend engineering community and work within cross-functional teams alongside product managers, frontend, and mobile engineers. You’ll play a key role in shaping core financial products, supporting a rapidly growing user base, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services aligned with team and business goals
* Write clean, well-documented, production-grade code
* Contribute to service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain-Driven Design principles
* Participate in technical decision-making and mentor other engineers as you grow in technical leadership

Your Team
You’ll join a large Product Engineering organization, structured into small cross-functional teams across multiple domains, including:
* Customer onboarding, account management, and compliance
* Payments and financial operations
* Platform systems, integrations, and monetization
* Cash flow management and bookkeeping tools
* Collaborative accounting and pre-accounting solutions
Each team typically includes 6–8 backend engineers and owns its product scope end to end.
