Research Field Engineering » Aerospace engineering Education Level PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
* Field of experience: Aerospace Engineering or related fields, particularly Aircraft Design and Manufacturing.
* Independent research potential, critical thinking, ability to cope with innovation and interdisciplinarity.
* Postdoctoral experience of up to 6 years

Research duties
● To help consolidate a competitive research program in one or more areas of Aerospace Engineering
● To help build competitive proposals for research funding
● To publish impactful scientific contributions
● To advise PhD Theses.
● All expected management, representation, and dissemination activities of faculty members.
General contractual conditions:
● Gross salary 38-41 k€/year.
● Options for additional salary supplements offered by UC3M and based on productivity and excellence
● Standard benefits, including Health care under the Spanish National System.
● Contract Start: February 2026, preferably.
● The duration of the contract is 2 years. Successful candidates are expected to transition into a tenure-track position after that period.
