Job Purpose
Define the crew manpower sizing necessary to operate Vueling’s production. Responsible for optimizing crew resources across all Vueling operations while ensuring the right balance of:
* Maximized cost efficiency
* Maximized productivity (IAG Targets)
* Operational robustness
* Crew quality of life
This position plays a key role in the Fleet Transition project. The role requires strategic foresight, agile planning, analytical excellence, and cross-functional coordination to align crew deployment, training capacity, and base transitions with operational timelines. Ensuring the right crew, with the right skills, are in the right place at the right time to support a seamless fleet integration.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
* Build and maintain a manpower strategy.
* Work closely with the Re-Fleet Team to deliver the Crew Transition plan.
* Model complex transition scenarios under uncertainty.
* Define all manpower leavers forecast assumptions (part-time, attrition, etc.).
* Ensure continuous execution of the manpower strategy throughout the year, coordinating with relevant departments.
* Continuously monitor and optimize crew resource utilization, ensuring balance between operational robustness, cost, and crew quality of life.
* Convert headcount into FTE projections with precision and transparency.
* Develop manpower scenarios and identify capacity opportunities; analyze inefficiencies, ensure optimal application of company agreements, and proactively propose improvements.
* Define annual Crew Manpower targets and shape corresponding OKRs.
* Support Crew Standards and Labour Relations with assumptions, models, and analytical input for negotiations and conflict resolution.

Education
* Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Aeronautical Management.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Network Management, Finance or Project Management roles focused on Continuous Improvement, ideally within the aviation sector.

* Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of cost management, forecasting, and business case development.
* Leadership & Team Development: Focused on cultivating teams that remain cohesive and high-performing through change and ambiguity.
* Technical Proficiency: Experienced in analytical modelling.
