About the role
In this role, as a BID Manager you will support Bid Management activities for Contract Logistics across the Europe region, ensuring that opportunities are managed consistently, transparently and in line with defined processes. You will work closely with commercial teams, sales operations, finance and global CRM colleagues to ensure that each opportunity progresses smoothly from initial assessment through to contract signature.
A core part of your work will involve maintaining high‑quality CRM data, coordinating bid governance steps, preparing reporting for regional reviews and supporting teams with training on processes and systems. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, strengthen data quality and improve how we present our capabilities to customers.
This position is designed to help our commercial teams operate more effectively and efficiently, ultimately supporting DP World’s long‑term growth and can be based, working hybrid, from any of the European countries where we have a legal entity.
How You Will Contribute
* Coordinate bid management activities for each opportunity, engaging local commercial and sales operations teams as needed.
* Manage opportunities through the full DP World Logistics Europe bid process, from assessment to contract signature.
* Organize and document “Go / No Go” discussions with regional functional leads and communicate outcomes clearly.
* Support the setup and facilitation of kick‑off meetings for opportunity response teams.
* Gather required information from opportunity leads and finance teams to prepare submissions for the Regional Customer Council.
* Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date opportunity data in the CRM system and ensure adherence to defined processes.
* Assist with data gathering, analysis and reporting on growth and renewal pipelines.
* Collaborate with global CRM teams on system updates or process changes.
* Deliver CRM and bid management training for commercial teams, including onboarding and process refreshers.
* Extract and prepare managerial reporting for regional reviews in collaboration with commercial and finance leads.
* Engage internal stakeholders proactively to progress bid activities and support continuous improvement.
* Contribute to enhancing how DP World presents its capabilities and value to customers.
* Promote DP World’s principles, values and safety culture in all activities.
What You Will Bring
* Experience in the supply chain sector, ideally within contract logistics or road transport.
* A background in project management, including planning, stakeholder coordination and delivery of improvements.
* Experience with customer engagement processes and the supporting back‑office systems.
* Strong CRM experience, with the ability to guide others in process adherence and data quality.
* Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* A structured, analytical and detail‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
* The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across diverse, multicultural teams.
* A proactive mindset, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* High standards of confidentiality and data protection.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
* Willingness to travel occasionally based on business needs.
