Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Maintenance Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
* Read blueprints and instructions, examine surfaces to determine the type and amount of work required.
* Prepare the site (cover accessories, set up scaffolding, etc.).
* Prepare surfaces for painting (remove old paint, sand, fill cracks, etc.).
* Mix paint and other materials to achieve the desired color and texture.
* Perform any other related tasks assigned.
* Assist other department staff. Teamwork is essential.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a Painter.
* Personal qualities:
o Responsible and methodical
o Organized
o Detail-oriented
o Flexible, practical, and professional approach
o Problem-solving skills
* Knowledge in masonry, electrical work, locksmithing, carpentry, and other maintenance professions will be valued.
