The role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative(Trainee) to join our team in Madrid and support the expansion of the Springboard35 partner network.

This role is part of the Growth Team and is focused on identifying, engaging, and activating potential partners who can join our ecosystem and contribute to scaling Springboard’s commercial reach.

You will gain hands-on experience in partnership development, outbound prospecting, and early-stage growth strategies, working closely with experienced Business Developers and Growth Managers.

This is a unique opportunity to understand how strategic partnerships are built in a fast-paced international tech environment.

Your mission

As a Business Development Representative (Trainee), your main focus will be to support the expansion of the Springboard35 partner ecosystem by:

* Identifying potential strategic partners aligned with Springboard35’s growth strategy
* Building and qualifying targeted prospect lists based on market and industry research
* Supporting outbound outreach to potential partners (email, LinkedIn, calls, etc.)
* Participating in initial conversations with prospective partners
* Assisting in qualifying leads and assessing strategic fit
* Managing and updating the CRM to ensure a structured pipeline
* Supporting the preparation of outreach messaging and value propositions
* Contributing to the optimization of outreach and engagement processes
* Supporting the Growth Team in day-to-day outbound and partnership acquisition activities

What we’re looking for

* Strong interest in growth, partnerships, and business development
* Curiosity about how ecosystems and commercial partnerships are built
* Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take initiative
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Comfortable reaching out to new contacts and starting conversations
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
* Team player with a collaborative attitude
* Motivation to build a career in growth, partnerships, or sales

Requirements

* Internship agreement with a university or business school (mandatory)
* Based in Madrid
* Very good level of English (spoken and written) and fluent Spanish
* No previous experience required, but exposure to sales, marketing, or startups is a plus
* Interest in tech, SaaS, startups, or growth environments
* Strong motivation to learn and develop in a commercial/growth role
* And of course, a good sense of humor
