Global Nodes está apoyando a Winview, una compañía de tecnología creativa con sede en Madrid, para contratar a un CTO.
Esta posición es de oficina en Madrid, España. Todos los candidatos que soliciten deben ser fluidos en español e inglés.

Tasks
Job Summary
Este CTO lidera la estrategia y ejecución tecnológica de la empresa, asegurando que la visión tecnológica se alinee con los objetivos comerciales. Dirige los equipos de ingeniería y desarrollo, supervisa la infraestructura tecnológica y garantiza que la compañía use tecnología de manera eficiente para impulsar el crecimiento e innovación.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Technology Strategy
* Define and communicate the company's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve products, services, and operational efficiency.
* Stay up-to-date with industry and technology trends to ensure competitiveness.
Team Management
* Lead, motivate, and manage the engineering, development, QA, and IT teams.
* Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
* Oversee the hiring, training, and professional development of technical staff.
Product Development and Architecture
* Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, from conception to launch.
* Ensure the quality, scalability, security, and reliability of the technology architecture and products.
* Make critical decisions about the tech stack, tools, and coding standards.
* Deep understanding of product vision and expectations from the customers.
Operations and Budget Management
* Develop and manage the technology department's budget.
* Oversee IT infrastructure, data security, and regulatory compliance.
* Optimize technological processes to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
* Participation in vendor selection and trade-offs.
Collaboration with the C-Suite
* Work closely with the CEO and other executive leaders to align technology strategy with business goals.
* Communicate technology risks, opportunities, and progress to the board of directors and stakeholders.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
* On-site in central Madrid.
* Language: Technical English, written and oral, at a fluent or native level.
* University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a technology leadership role (CTO, VP of Engineering, etc.) with a track record in building and managing technical teams.
* Practical experience in software development and scalable systems architecture.
* Experience in handling a multitenant system.
* Experience in Cloud architecture and familiar with Azure.
* Solid knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
* Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership.
* Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and manage technological change.
* Past experience in the same industry will be a plus.
