We are seeking a (Senior) Commercial Project Manager to join our Customer Service Business Administration team. The role involves preparing competitive offers, managing ongoing projects within budget and Siemens guidelines, and improving contract profitability. Responsibilities include detailed financial analysis, contract reviews, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This position reports directly to the Head of Customer Services Business Administration.
Responsibilities
* Prepare financial information during the offer phase and present it at the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) meetings for both national and international bids.
* Serve as a trusted partner for project managers, handling all commercial aspects of ongoing projects.
* Ensure accuracy of project books and records, including proper recording in systems like SAP, ensuring compliance with Siemens-FRG and local GAAP standards.
* Manage project reporting and controlling activities under your scope, both locally and internationally.
* Optimize project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing to meet financial targets with professional care.
* Actively address all commercial and financial issues within your responsibility.
* Communicate financial results and key drivers effectively to management.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial project management or finance.
* Strong knowledge of performance controlling, sales, and project execution.
* Proficiency in calculation methods, financial models, forecasting, and project controlling.
* Understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/Siemens FRG) and taxation.
* Familiarity with Siemens' business processes, policies, and procedures.
* Experience with Business Administration tools.
* Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
* Effective teamwork, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Multicultural working experience is advantageous.
