Spain is investing in its future defense capabilities — and Indra is leading the way. We're hiring Engineers to work on next-generation AESA radar systems, to be part of the PEM (Programa Especial de Modernización) launched by the Spanish Government. These are strategic national projects that will define the future of air defense platforms.
#128295; Key Responsibilities :
* Design and integrate electromechanical systems for high-power AESA radar platforms.
* Develop mechanical structures and cooling systems (air-cooled and liquid-cooled) for defense-grade electronics.
* Select and validate commercial components (connectors, fans, heat exchangers, TECs, chillers) ensuring compliance with ruggedization and reliability standards.
* Perform thermal and structural analysis in coordination with simulation teams.
* Design and control power distribution systems including AC/DC and DC/DC converters (buck, boost, flyback, forward, full-bridge, resonant).
* Develop EMI/EMC filters for switched-mode power supplies in compliance with MIL-STD-461.
* Support environmental qualification testing (vibration, thermal, EMC) and ensure MIL-STD compliance.
* Prepare detailed technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering.
#127891; Your Profile :
* Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in electromechanical design and power systems for aerospace or defense.
* Proficiency in Siemens NX and/or Solid Edge for CAD modeling and documentation.
* Strong knowledge of thermal management, EMI/EMC compliance, and MIL-STD protocols.
* Experience in power electronics and distributed power architectures.
* Fluent in English.
* Eligibility for NATO clearance.
