EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA)
This role is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The mission is to drive the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system, rolling out the solution across European companies. The role reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and involves executing assigned activities. The candidate will analyze, develop, and deploy the GPI SAP solution in close collaboration with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents. Additionally, they will contribute to the evolution of the platform to meet new requirements in line with the IT strategy.
This position can be based in Spain or Poland.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in the Controlling and Finance areas within EMEA.
2. Developing in-depth process knowledge and supporting current business and operational processes such as Product Costing Controlling, Variance Analysis, Sales & Profitability Controlling (CO-PA), Project System Controlling, and Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL).
3. Ensuring integration with SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP, and supporting SAP S/4HANA migration post ECC rollout.
4. Managing application maintenance and support, troubleshooting, documentation, and user training.
5. Collaborating with internal US/EMEA IT teams and external partners.
6. Facilitating requirements negotiation among stakeholders and supporting data cleansing and migration activities.
The role also involves supporting the SAP EMEA Centre of Excellence by:
1. Designing and improving global solutions.
2. Gathering and consolidating best practices and process knowledge.
3. Contributing to system design, data migration, testing, and go-live activities.
4. Defining rollout strategies and roadmaps.
Required skills & competencies:
* At least 7 years of professional experience in SAP CO, with 5 years in SAP.
* Experience in large IT transformation programs in international environments.
* Proven track record in SAP design and customization, especially in Printing, Packaging, or Consumer Products industries.
* Strong understanding of business processes and technical skills including EDIs, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and some ABAP knowledge.
* Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and related tools.
* Post-graduate degree (Master in IT, Engineering, Scientific disciplines, or Economics).
* Fluent English is mandatory; additional European languages are a plus.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
