Nature and Aim of Key Account Manager Position
The holder of this position is responsible for managing and developing an assigned merchant portfolio selling a range of Global Blue Products and Services, including:
* Financial Services: Tax Free Shopping (TFS), Currency Choice (DCC)
* Account Development products: Marketing Services, Business Intelligence, and Training Programs at both clients' Head Office and Store level
The role involves ensuring accurate account management to meet Head Office and Store level objectives:
* Delivery of sales targets
* High-level Relationship Management
* Improve merchants' knowledge and expertise with our services
* Accurate use of our CRM system to plan, record, and report account-specific activity
* Delivery of contractual obligations and activities at store level
* Delivery of staff training on Tax Free and Currency Choice
* Support terminal installations
* Maximize TFS business (Issue Ratio and Refund Ratio management)
* Maximize DCC business (Hit Rate management)
* Analyze business statistics and discuss with Store Managers for action
* Conduct store visits and action plans based on company segmentation
* Monitor Net Turnover for TFS, CC, Media, GB Online
Key collaboration with Country Manager, Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Partner Relationship Manager, and Merchant Services Manager.
Qualifications include 4-5 years of experience in account management, ideally in FMCG, retail, or financial services, with skills to build strong customer relationships and prioritize tasks effectively.
