We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager in Barcelona:
About the role:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to own and scale our fast-evolving supply chain across three high-impact propulsion product lines (ARCOS, U-NYX, KRONOS), ensuring precision sourcing, logistics resilience, and supplier excellence in a highly technical and regulated environment.
This is a challenging position that has a transversal visibility on all company operations and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
* Source and qualify suppliers for complex propulsion components
* Lead RFQs, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring
* Develop and execute supplier roadmaps aligned with internal developments
Supplier Relationship & Risk Management
* Build strong partnerships with suppliers
* Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and supply chain risks, particularly for dual-use hardware (REACH, ITAR/EAR awareness).
* Implement contingency strategies, including dual sourcing and in-house vs. outsourced trade-offs.
Operations & Logistics
* Coordinate procurement planning with engineering, test, and manufacturing tean
* Manage logistics for critical hardware between vendors and internal sites
* Ensure documentation, traceability, and customs compliance
Systems & Continuous Improvement
* Establish and optimize ERP/MRP systems (experience with Odoo a plus) to streamline purchasing, inventory, and supplier coordination.
* Track supply chain KPIs (on-time delivery, supplier quality, lead time) and lead data-driven improvements.
What you need to be successful:
* 4 years of experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, or New Space supply chain roles.
* Strong background in mechanical or aerospace systems—ideally propulsion, fluids, or thermal hardware.
* Experience managing supplier relationships in complex, regulated environments.
* Familiarity with ESA/CNES/MoD-level requirements for traceability, quality, and compliance.
* Hands-on approach and ability to scale systems in a fast-growth, technically demanding environment.
* Problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Bonus: experience with defense contracts, institutional funding programs, or spaceflight hardware.
