Join Our Dynamic Team as a Business Development professional in Barcelona. As part of our expansion, we are growing our sales team by hiring a passionate and driven sales professional experienced in High & Heavy Mafi Cargo. Based in Barcelona, you will promote and sell our RoRo logistics services within the Spanish market.


What You'll Do

* Conduct market research on RoRo cargo in the French market and identify key buyer personas.
* Build and develop a new customer portfolio, actively seeking new sales opportunities.
* Collaborate with the Sales Team and Logistics RoRo Director to set and achieve targets.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with major accounts, ensuring ongoing representation and communication with RoRo HQ in Barcelona.
* Monitor competitor activities and gather market intelligence on rates, customers, and opportunities.
* Plan and prioritize client engagements, preparing detailed reports and commercial activities.
* Explore new projects and expansion opportunities, negotiating rates and closing sales.
* Maintain and update the customer database (CRM), ensuring financial control and assisting with forecast and budget preparation.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

* Educational Background: Degree in Logistics, International Trade, or related fields.
* Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in freight forwarding services or RoRo services and willingness to grow as a salesperson.
* Specialized Knowledge: Experience in selling RoRo Logistics Services or forwarding is highly valued.
* Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
