At SEGULA Technologies, we continue to grow and are looking for a HMI / Interior Controls Engineer to join a high-level automotive project, working within a Concept Development team in a cutting-edge Haptics Laboratory environment.This role plays a key part in defining the perceived quality of the vehicle, focusing on the tactile feedback and mechanical behavior of interior controls and user interfaces.Main responsibilitiesManage and operate a Haptics Laboratory, focusing on interior controls (switchgear) and actuatorsDefine and analyze actuation forces, travel, and tactile feedback of interior componentsEnsure feasibility for mass production through application and industrial engineeringCollaborate closely with design teams to develop components aligned with high-end ergonomic and tactile standardsValidate compliance with automotive interior engineering requirementsSupport testing, measurement, and validation activities in a lab environmentRequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similarProven experience in automotive interior development, especially in Haptics & Switchgear (buttons, knobs, physical controls)Strong knowledge of CATIA V5Experience working in a laboratory/testing environmentFluency in Spanish and English (German is a plus)What we offerOpportunity to work on a high-visibility automotive projectInvolvement in early concept development phasesDynamic and international engineering environmentContinuous professional development
