Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary! brWhat you'll do brWe're looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Manager to proactively generate new business for Europe, provide account management for new and existing accounts and work with the group sales team to meet and exceed monthly revenue goals. Attend MICE trade shows, road shows, workshops, fam trips, community and industry events. brAssist to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to attract MICE business. brLead hotel's sales efforts with key MICE market accounts. Attend specific sales calls, tradeshows, forums, workshops, and industry events to promote the hotel as well as to get qualified leads. Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports, leisure presentations and file maintenance. brIdentify and qualify programs for the hotel, ensuring up-to-date information and content. Provide personalized service to these accounts, maintaining strong relationships with European MICE clients to understand their needs and preferences, and offer tailored recommendations to enhance their experience. Manage day-to-day customer support with key agency accounts. brIdentify and qualify potential leads through research, networking and outreach efforts. Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients. brBuild and maintain strong relationships with MICE clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored recommendations and enhance their experience. Manage day-to-day customer support with key agency accounts. brDevelop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers to identify opportunities and threats. Adjust sales strategies accordingly. brWork closely with the team members to ensure effective promotion of packages and seamless execution of exceptional guest experiences. Coordinate and follow-up with other hotel departments to ensure delivery of superior guest service. brAnalyze MICE sales data and market trends to forecast revenue accurately. Provide regular activities/ sales plan reports and updates. brManage the MICE sales budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI. brDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of Delphi and Opera, keep that nourished with the updated information. brProvide guidance and support to the sales team fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. What we are looking for... brBachelor's degree preferred. brValuable minimum of four (3) three years of experience in hotel MICE European sales or equivalent industry experience, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel. brExperience in MICE (UK, France and German markets if possible). brSomeone who understands, celebrates and embraces the SLS brand values. brFull availability to travel. brValuable knowledge of sales skills, ability to understand customer requirements and translating these into sales solutions and revenue management. brTrack record meeting or exceeding sales goals. brAbility to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive. brTrack record of developing long term relationships and contacts. brAbility to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action. brStrong organizational skills including follow up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. brAbility to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods. brAbility to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. brProficient in Windows Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and able to utilize traditional software programs such as, Delphi, Opera, and any departmental specific systems used. brMust be innovative, organized, efficient and able to prioritize multiple projects while working with a team. brExceptional interpersonal skills required, must be able to always present self professionally. brMust be able to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization. brStrong work ethic and self-starter who is a team player and comes with a can-do attitude. brEnsure confidential documents are kept in a secured area. brDemonstrate positive characteristics, which inspire Teamwork and team spirit. brExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
