Category Manager - FF&E and Construction (m / f / d)As a member of Astore’s Category Management team, you play a key role in driving our strategy and driving solutions for our hotel partners in the region. Your focus will be on the Construction, Renovation, Technical Maintenance (CRTM) and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) categories across the ENA region. Your role will involve developing category strategies, managing tenders, and maintaining strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver value and ensure client satisfaction.What will you do?As Category Manager, you will set up strategies in your categories, source suppliers, negotiate contracts with them, deploy their solutions in the hotels and manage the relationshipsBe responsible for all (local) procurement for your categories, managing the offers on your marketplace;
in addition you are responsible for revenue and profit for the categories in your scopeDefine and implement strategies for your assigned categories to achieve financial targets and enhance client satisfactionLead tenders and bidding processes and support the local identification and implementation of best practices, synergies and moreManage the selection and decision making process on suppliers, including assessment of supplier quotations, and negotiate contracts, prices and T&Cs;
fully responsible for the source-to-contract-process for your categories, including all RFI- / RFP- / RFQ-processesManage complex projects involving suppliers, technical directors, architects, and moreTake full ownership of financial performance, including EBIT, revenue, customer savings, and bad debt controlQualificationsOur ideal profile would be :
Master degree in Business or EngineeringProven experience in procurement, especially in construction and FF&E categoriesExpertise in project procurement and category managementStrategic and analytical mindset with a strong customer focusSkilled in managing complex tenders and client relationshipsFull professional proficiency in English and French is a must;
