**Role description**:
Manage the country and regional procurement related items to support the plants specific budget requirements, manage on time - and in full deliveries of materials and required services. Generate savings, create value, manage supplier relationships, improve processes in conjunction with the EU Procurement Team and share best practices on an EU level. Actively contributes to the creation of 2-5 years category strategies including should cost modelling, inflation mitigation, supply risk assessments and business continuity plans. Leads regional category maturity improvement workstreams or projects.
**Responsibilities**:
Manage all related local/regional spends for materials and services on a best cost/best value basis. Secure OTIF deliveries to support operations to allow 24/7 production and ongoing plant projects.
Manage all related SAP work and documentation (master records, PO´s, PO acknowledgments, etc.)
Execute single Procurement steps within the Source to Pay process, i.e. do market research, develop strategy, conduct RFQ´s, negotiate and implement contracts, support standardization of materials, support to run benchmarking exercises between the plants, after PO follow up (e.g. claims). Assess supply risks and build business continuity plans (ie: alternative qualifications, dual sourcing, etc )
Communication of procurement initiatives to local Stakeholders (e.g. Plant Manager, local Engineers) and on EU Procurement level. Communicates local needs to regional and integral procurement teams
Support standardization and harmonization of processes across all EU plants. Support to implement digitalized and automated solutions for repetitive tasks.
**Required skills / qualifications**:
More than 5 years’ experience in a procurement function in a multinational environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, mobilisemobilize and organize resources. Experience in managing supplier relationships. Experience in managing people. Experience in working in international teams. Broad understanding in all Procurement related processes and the P2P process. Strong ability to collaborate on a local / in person basis as well as on regional / remote basis.
