Technical Support Professional - Fire Security
Position summary:
Technical support for field issue and commissioning, Hot Line, Customer Training, New Product Testing and Verification.
Main Responsibilities:
* Customer support on tech issue in the field and at the laboratory.
* OnLine telephone technical support for commissioning fire panels.
* Customer training 1:1 or online.
* NPI validation and testing on new products.
* Check software and firmware updates released for new products.
* Fill in reports for validation products.
* Translation in local language of the manuals for new products.
* Improve and maintain the KPIs in a Tech Team.
* Actively participate in weekly Tier 1 Technical Area meetings, suggesting improvements.
* Participate in achieving goals (safety, internal/external).
* Understand and comply with all standard HSE processes, tests, and inspects machinery and equipment.
Must Haves:
* Degree in automation or electronics.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Aptitude for teamwork.
* Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Experience with fire panels and/or fire security equipment.
