Overview Join the Finance Business Controller Analyst role at Schindler, S.A. (Spain). You will support efficiency improvements and process excellence in Finance & Backoffice operations at Group level as part of Schindler's Center of Expertise (CoE) in Madrid. Location: Madrid, Alcobendas, Spain.
Responsibilities Month end closing support for designated group companies, gaining deep understanding of processes.
Detailed reporting of Balance Sheet, P&L statement, and management accounting forms to the Group Reporting Tool.
Monthly reconciliation of key balance sheet and P&L accounts, support identification of differences and implementation of solutions in the system.
Perform preclosing checks to ensure smooth month end close.
AD HOC reporting for zone management and global controlling.
Support continuous business process improvements at Group level.
Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent in Finance / Economics / Business Administration.
Proven experience in financial management and solid accounting base.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar positions.
Hands‐on experience with SAP FI/CO modules in a global system environment.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to work in an international environment.
Travelling frequent, if required.Proficient level of English; other languages considered an asset.
PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
