About the Company
BlueWalker Capital is a hedge fund developing systematic and quantitative trading strategies native to prediction markets.
We log hundreds of millions of trades and order book ticks per day, isolate market pairs from tens of millions of combinations, and continuously monitor for a range of arbitrage opportunities we execute on. It's still early days for us—we are deepening a moat across trading infrastructure, datasets, and modeling.
We trade algorithmically using our own balance sheet, generating daily returns exceeding 1% with the capacity to rotate hundreds of thousands of euros in daily volume.
Our mission is to become the leading hedge fund in this emerging asset class, delivering investment returns while making prediction markets efficient as the world's most accurate source of truth.
About the Role
Our operations span exchanges, brokers, and tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions. You will own all of it. This is a rare opportunity to build the legal and fiscal backbone of a growing trading firm from the ground up, with full autonomy and no bureaucracy. You will be a trusted advisor to leadership and the Board.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement corporate structures for proprietary trading across exchanges in multiple jurisdictions.
* Own relationships with exchanges, brokers, custodians, tax authorities and external counsel.
* Establish and maintain robust transfer pricing policies for intra-group services and capital deployment across multi-jurisdictional entities.
* Monitor regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions and translate their impact into actionable guidance for the business.
Who we are looking for
Hard Skills
* Deep understanding of the fiscal treatment of financial instruments and digital assets across major jurisdictions (EU, US, and offshore).
* Familiarity with entity structuring (holding companies, SPVs, offshore vehicles) and cross-border capital deployment mechanics.
* Experience managing filings and compliance obligations across multiple entities simultaneously.
* Solid grasp of AML, KYB, and financial regulatory processes applicable to prop trading firms.
Soft Skills
* Fluent Spanish & English
* Exceptionally high personal integrity.
* Ability to prioritize when everything feels urgent.
* A "Option C" thinker who finds creative, compliant paths forward when legal roadblocks appear.
Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with Spanish, Dutch, and/or US law — ideally more than one.
* Prior experience at a law firm or the legal department of an investment firm.
* Exposure to digital asset regulation, custody frameworks, or DeFi-adjacent legal structures.
* Ability to own the full cycle of P&L accounting and reporting, leveraging fiscal optimization to protect the firm’s bottom line in a high-volume transaction environment.
