About The Role
At First Stop Southwest, part of Bridgestone’s retail network in EMEA, we’re building a high performing, people first organization that delivers superior service and sustainable growth.
Purpose
We’re looking for an HR Specialist (Maternity Cover) to partner with our First Stop Southwest leadership and store network, driving the full people agenda—from workforce planning and talent development to engagement, performance, safety, employee relations and compliance. You’ll be a visible, trusted advisor to leaders and teammates, translating business goals into practical HR solutions and championing our LEAD leadership framework to empower teams, advance results, develop connections, and lead the future.
Responsibilities I. Change Management, Culture & Engagement
* Partner with leaders to craft clear, inspiring communication that supports change and drives alignment.
* Work hand in hand with our Talent Acquisition CoE to attract top external talent, ensuring hiring practices reflect our organisational needs and strengthen our partnership with external recruitment providers.
* Champion a culture that brings our vision to life—embedding Bridgestone’s Essence and Behaviours in everything we do.
II. Performance, Talent & Development
* Guide managers in setting meaningful individual and team objectives that link directly to business strategy.
* Coach leaders on differentiating performance, addressing gaps, and identifying high potential talent.
* Ensure training, development, and career growth initiatives align with organisational priorities.
* Actively contribute to talent identification, succession planning, and capability building aligned with regional strategy.
III. Labour Relations & Compliance
* Manage local works councils.
* Negotiate and implement changes in working conditions (departmental structure or staff allocation, working hours, transfers, etc.).
* Coordinate, with external labour consultants, any issues related to this field.
* Manage cases raised through the Speak Up channel with objectivity and discretion.
* Conduct thorough investigations, including relevant interviews, and ensure appropriate follow up actions.
IV. Compensation & Benefits
* Partner with managers to develop compensation proposals for hires and promotions within internal guidelines.
* Advise leaders on Bridgestone’s total rewards philosophy—supporting performance differentiation, recognition, and the retention of key talent.
V. Other Responsibilities
* Promote the effective use of HRIS tools (SuccessFactors, GoBeyond, GoFluent, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and process compliance.
* Ensure policies, procedures, and documentation meet national legal requirements, and that employees receive the right compliance training.
* Monitor HR performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery.

Requirements
* Degree/ Master's degree in Human Resources (and/or similar)
* Proficiency in Office
* Knowledge of Success Factors is an advantage
* High level of English (written and spoken) is a must (French is an advantage)
* Ability to prioritise and multitask
* Experience working in global and matrix environments
* Minimum 5 years' previous experience in HR roles
* Availability to travel
