Job Description
A temporary position for a Communication Generalist has arisen with Airbus Operations, Getafe (Spain).
Responsibilities
- Under the guidance and leadership of the HO National Communications, within the Commercial Aircraft business of Airbus, undertake and support activities in the Communications department, representing the department and engaging with site and local communities.
- Collect, prioritise and manage requests for communication support, aligning with the company communication plan and business priorities.
- Promote and protect the Airbus brand, participating in the definition of appropriate Lines to Take (LTTs), helping leaders consider LTTs to ensure relevance, consistency and compliance of communication assets targeting large audiences or external stakeholders.
- Provide advice to selected projects and leaders for defining communication plans and actions that the business will run to achieve Airbus’ objectives.
- Lead or support agreed communication actions and deliver on established objectives and KPIs, ensuring internal customer satisfaction, assessing communication impact, learning lessons and ensuring budget compliance. This includes:
- Ensuring input to internal communication activities in Spain.
- Supporting external communications with media relations activity in Spain.
Skills
- 1-2 years of experience; internship at Airbus is a plus.
- Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity, forming the foundation for the company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
- Fluency in Spanish and English in both writing and speaking.
- International mindset – works across sites, countries and organisational boundaries.
