Role Description
This is a part-time, remote B2B contract role for a Kids Video Content Acquisition & Partnerships Lead. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and securing kids’ video content partners such as studios, creators, distributors, and rights holders that align with client goals. Day-to-day, the contractor will source and qualify potential partners, manage outreach and pitch discussions, negotiate partnership terms in collaboration with internal stakeholders, and maintain an organized pipeline of opportunities. The role includes coordinating basic content information (e.g., catalogs, rights, territories, formats), supporting deal documentation, and ensuring smooth handover to internal teams for implementation. The contractor will also provide regular updates on partnership performance, market insights, and recommendations to optimize content acquisition strategy.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to present partnership opportunities clearly, negotiate respectfully, and build long-term professional relationships.
* Experience with web content writing and content strategy to help position kids’ video offerings and articulate value propositions to partners.
* Proficiency in writing and content management to create and maintain outreach materials, partner decks, and deal trackers.
* Background in content acquisition, media licensing, or partnerships within kids’ media, entertainment, or streaming is highly beneficial.
* Understanding of rights, territories, and content distribution models in digital media, especially for children’s content.
* Strong organizational and pipeline management skills, with comfort using CRM or tracking tools to manage multiple conversations at once.
* Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment, collaborate asynchronously, and meet agreed timelines.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* Extensive experience acquiring or licensing kids and family video content
* Strong network across studios, distributors, producers, and rights holders
* Proven ability to source content across multiple genres and age groups
* Experience working across international markets, especially USA, Canada, Western Europe, Israel, Australia, and Latin America
* Understanding of streaming rights, AVOD/SVOD/TVOD models, territory rights, windowing, dubbing/subtitling, and content compliance
* Ability to identify commercially attractive, safe, age-appropriate content for children
* Comfortable opening senior-level conversations and representing the company externally
* Able to work independently with a flexible, part-time commitment
